It was a bittersweet Thanksgiving for our family this year.
Although the house was full, what with both sons and grandchildren keeping the refrigerator compressors running 24/7, the week concluded with our youngest -known hereabouts on the forum as
recondotexas- departing the Sunday after as his battalion returns to Afghanistan.
We did get a couple of good riding days in; exercising the R65s over some mild twisties north of our village. The good sergeant wants me to fit some throaty mufflers on the '83 so it will sound as nice as the '81 with it's Dunstall-style EPCO stainless. I now have a year+ to find some replacements...
We took a morning to have some family photographs professionally made. Here's two cleaned up R65 forum members.
