My goodness Mike, I go away to a vintage bike national rally here and come back to find that you and the GS bike fell down!! I am so sorry! Gee, what's with it being the GS bike that slips on sand? I assume all the road bikes would have really fallen down faster then?

:-/
So you have joined the broken collarbone fraternity! Gonna get your requisite lump?? I did find my pretty painful and it did stop me from lifting my right arm up very high...making it very, very difficult to drink in the scenery from that side

If you by chance have arm lifting problems after the pain and ribs are not an issue, try "walking" up the wall with your fingers (itty bitty spider-like) and do it daily...do not go beyond your pain threshold though at any time. It'll get vertical again, I promise!!! Well, almost!
The ribs are a pain to say the least but I have no aftermath problems from them at all. 6 weeks and all better there although there may be a dent.
So even a perfectly vertical and perpendicular approach angle to the sand patch won't save us??? Just a hope and a prayer situation?
Hope that everyday, you feel better!!
All the best,
Sue
