49er Rally - Marioposa, CA - Memorial Day weekend

This should be a great rally.  It's been in Auburn the last few years, but they are going back to Mariposa this year.  This is the gateway to Yosemite, so there should be some really great roads to ride in the area.

Since it is a more southern site, maybe those from So. Cal. can make it this year.  It would be great to have a western contingent of the R65 forum meet there.  

I'll have the flag, so I'll put up info at the rally HQ when I get there.  We can't let the eastern contingent be the only ones to have signed the flag and have pictures posted.

I have been going to the '49er for many years.  It's a great rally, and returning to Mariposa will be even better.  

When I first starting riding in the early 80s the rally was held in Mariposa and I recall getting up early on Sunday so we could all ride into Yosemite for the Sunday Brunch at the Ahwanee hotel.  

Unfortunately, I'm going to miss it this year, as I will be volunteering at the BMW RA tent at the World SuperBike races in Tooele, UT.  

Have a great time there Melena!  I will be thinking of being there.
