Got The LS And The Guzzi Home

Got the R65LS and  Moto Guzi V65 Lario home about half an hour ago .

Title transfers are done, so there are no paperwork issues with either bike .

I need to get the garage straightened out, there is no room to move around right now .

Sorry about no pictures, I never got around to getting a digital camera, guess it's just not a real priority with me !!!

Bob, I saw the MG ad on Craigs List and it looks like you done good.  Every rider needs a Guzzi at least once in their life.  I'll be interested in hearing more about it.

As for the digital camera, I find it really handy whenever I'm having to perform a disassembly.  It's very helpful to this old brain so I can see how things go back together, or so I can send it off to Monte and ask him "does this look right to you?".

Not just 1, but 2 new toys to occupy all your spare time and spare cash!!
Learn all about Guzzis so in case I suffer some relapse of "old bike craving" and pick up an old Guzzi T-3 or Eldorado there will be someone to help me along!

There have been a couple of V50 Guzzis for sale on CL in this area - they look pretty sharp but I think my next bike will end up with a sidecar on it so I'm looking at 800cc and up Guzzis and airheads..... must control grip on ... wallet....urgh!

I didn't get to go through the spare parts that I got with the bikes, but just from the receipts for the Guzzi parts, there's over $2000 in spares .

Not too many parts for the LS though .

I had a long day yesterday, had to start work at 0300, worked until 14:30, then didn't get every thing put away in the garage until 19:30 last night .

Just printed off a copy of the Moto Guzzi national club, I'm sure I'm going to need some assistance with working on the bike, until I get familiar with it, like I am with the R65's .

The seller was a 'pack rat', I think he had parts from every bike he has owned in the last 40 years .

He shipped two BMW's to relatives in Tulsa, I took two bikes, and from the looks of it, he had 9 bikes in various states of dis-assembly .

He's getting evicted from his home on July 15, there's no way he is going to transport everything he has to Tulsa, so I'm expecting to get a call just before then, to come take anything that's still there, if I am so inclined .

Bob, let me recommend a couple of good Guzzi sites for you to check out.
The 1st one, Wild Guzzi, is a large, informal and loosely structured discussion group with members having tons of Guzzi knowledge.

If you click the link at the upper right it will also take you to the home page where you can find tech sections, classifieds, photo galleries, etc.

Also, look into GuzziTech, at http://forum.guzzitech.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=119 , for a more structured forum also containing lots of great info and help.

Both sites have hundreds of folks ready, willing, and quite able to help out and answer any questions you may have.
