Motorrad Elektrik
« on: June 03, 2008, 05:08:55 PM »
Called Rick Jones on Tuesday after Memorial Day and ordered a Dyna coil and a few other bits. He said he was out of the coils but expected more in 2-3 days. A man of his word; the box showed up via USPS Express Mail the next Monday.

Everything arrived as ordered, well packed, with instructions and at the prices quoted. What's not to like?

Rick is way up in northeastern Alabama. As he said, "Almost into Appalachia." IF you don't have his website bookmarked, go to http://www.motoelekt.com/index.html and check out his stuff.

Nice guy. My kinda vendor.

I placed an order with him on May 26th, for a Beacon 2 led tail/stop light assembly, along with a Stopper 25 led light bar that will be wired into the brakelight, and a set of Electro-Pods, a set of 2 8 led flashing brakelights.

I've got some wiring to do in the next day or 2 on the R65.

I also got the Boxer Charging Handbook, and the auxillary charging circuit resistor.

Everything arrived on May 31st.

Every chance that I can give Motorrad Elektrik some business, I don't hesitate, even if it does cost a little bit more !

I don't hesitate to recommend doing business with Motorrad Elektrik, Rick Jones, the owner, will do everything to make something right, if a failure occurs.

In these days and times, Rick and Motorrad Elektrik are indeed a rarity, and exceptional folks to do business with. They'll even walk you thru it on the phone if you get stuck, and in my experience their prices either beat or are competitive with anyone else.

Like Bob & Monte said, highly recommended!!  [smiley=thumbup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbup.gif]

I got the rotor for my Alternator from him.  While I was at it I got a new voltage regulator just because (mine is so old, it didn't cost much, and the new one is better - take your choice).  Great guy to talk with.

My friend is getting his R60/5 ready to go on the road and bought a whole bunch of stuff from him just recently, including a new Omega diode board.  He also had him rebuild his Alternator Stator to double his amps.  It was like Christmas when he opened the box.    [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

My next order from him will be the Omega diode board.  It will be worth it!

In other words, yes, I couldn't agree more.  Just took me more words to say it than Rob used.   ;D
