Newbie from New Zealand

Owned my R65 since easter 2006 and I'm slooowly getting her sussed mechanically. Done over 130k but odometer doesn't function properly so hard to say how far she's actually gone.  New clutch last year and other more minor wear and tear items. Just last week the top end was done - jeez what a smooth, quiet bike it is now - and new Ikon shocks also - impressive difference to the original shocks.

My daily ride and likely to be an ongoing project for many moons.

Welcome to the forum, it's usually an on going 'restoration' with as old as these bikes are !

How is the parts availability in N Z ?

It's pretty common to have the odometer fail, the repair has been covered here, only requires a few dabs of adhesive on a gear or two .

To the best of my knowledge, you are the first member from New Zealand, from the pictures I've seen, it's quite spectactular landscape ! So we're expecting pictures of your rides ! :)

Riding all year long since 1993 .
I'll give up my R65, when they pry my cold dead hands from the handlebars !!!!!
