If all goes as planned. 1991 R100 Cafe will be arriving 1-2 hours.
Following final inspection will have new home in SLC, UT.
Current owner is visiting SLC for the Vintage Bike weekend & offerred to deliver my new bike.
Negotiated what I hope proves to be a great deal.

I'm a little in the dark about your new bike, first I've heard about it. Congratulations on the find. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with it, that 350 cc increase in power will come in handy I'm sure !

Riding all year long since 1993 .
I'll give up my R65, when they pry my cold dead hands from the handlebars !!!!!

Cool.   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]   Post pics soon.  We want to see.   ;D

That still doesn't get Sadie her side car.   :'(   But then, you'd probably need a K bike with a hefty side car for her.    ::)

Inspection revealed a few Fit/finish items I will have to address.
No leaks & runs strong. I am more than happy.
Rode in the Final Lap Parade. Then 50+ miles home.
As we exited we were given a Tshirt for our participation.
All in all a great first day of vacation.
Now I won't have such a bad case of seperation anxiety when I drop off the R65 at the upholstery shop on Monday.
Here's a pic of me riding off the race course after the parade lap on my new/old R100.

Cool, you'll like your mono-shocker.  The only major things I've had go wrong on my '95 has been alternator rotor and tranny bearings...

Great lookin' bike!  Love the solo seat and the "Thruxton" stripe!  Looks like it's in great shape from here, but then we can't get up close like you can.  Have fun with the new toy!

The stripe had to go. I am a minimalist of sorts. I like very understated low key styles. The cone air filters are next to go. Gotta find one clip for the stock airbox.
