We have many great assets to our "club." Terry "Wirespokes" Vrla is definitely an asset. Through the forum, I learned Terry works on speedometers for our bikes.
Before leaving for Sedalia, I asked Terry what his current turnaround time was - he said about a week. So I shipped him my speedo with the non working trip odometer. Terry received it on a Thursday and I got it back about a week and a couple days later.
I reinstalled her the other night (now I'm stuck on a brake job :-/).
He did such a nice job cleaning up the dial & lens, I'm mad at myself for not sending him the tach - especial with all the labor to R&R the cowling on the LS - what a rube design with the turn signals in the cowling - looks cool but a chore to install.
Thanks Terry Wirespokes!!! I can now fill up my tank, reset my tripmeter and have a general idea when it's time to gas up!
