i have some saddlebags in very poor condition and the metal mounts were rusted and the previous owner instead of sanding them and repainting them he just wrapped them in electrical tape and duck tape.

The bags might be good for storing airhead parts in the garage.  Even if you powder coated the rack I wouldn't take a chance on it holding up with all of the corrosion.  Someone might want them for spares.  Post them on the bay with no reserve.

Why don't you go on the local Craigslist and put in the motorcycle section FREE, but you must have a BMW bike to claim.

At least some airhead guy down on his luck could cobble some parts together.

i knew someone way going to say that. . i dont think i would just leave the bag on the side of the road. ide go pick it back up and put it back on. what i meant was they already look like sh*t so it wouldnt mater if they fell of and got scratched more
