Christmas came early.....
« on: October 16, 2011, 12:44:12 PM »
I have not been very well for the last few weeks (the drugs dont work) thankfully the docs have got to the bottom of the problem and i am on the mend, i felt well enough for a ride out on what may be one of the last decent weekends this year as snow is forecast next week.
I met up with some of the YBF forum guys who are gearing up for the "Toy Run" this is organized with the Salvation Army to bring some festive happiness to a group of underprivileged kids with out support they would have no Christmas to celebrate.
One of santa's helpers (Skittlemonster from the YBF ... yes she loves Skittles.... the sweet type if you know what they are) took a shine to Gertie and cheered me up no end.
I spotted this very nice example of a K100 while i was there, probebly the best i have seen.

SNOW! Holy Guacamole... forecast is for 90 degrees and CAVU here today. Snow? Really?

I'm sorry you've been feeling under the weather, Lou. As Chris just said, I, too, hope it's nothing serious.
Surely Santa's little red-skirted, elfin helper gave you a lift. ;)

Oh, and the K bike also looks like a proper goer.

I hope they get you fixed up, Lou, bein' a walkin' pharmacy ain't fun.  I'm down to about 5 pills a day now and only two of 'em are "gotta haves"...
