It took awhile, but I'm happy.  First test ride this afternoon and it is running real well.  Still a tweek to do, and decal to put on front cowl.

Check out first four pictures, they are from today.  Bike has left mechanics garage, finally.

Click on pick to make larger.  Pics taken with iphone, will get better pics and a ride report posted soon.

Wow, Peter, that's a really spectacular specimen.
Don't you just  love the way those bar-enders look like they were designed just for that bike? How did you manage the right-hand one?  I had to custom-make an extension because the handlebar actually ended short of the throttle grip.
I think you'll find the SS brake lines well worth whatever you paid for them.  Mine made big difference; enhanced the braking (feel and power) considerably.
I see you removed the air injecton system and plugged the head poirts.  A word of advice:  I lost a plug about 2000 miles after I installed it.  No damage, but I probably shouldn't have used anti-sieze. I check 'em once in a while now.
I posted a link to pictures of my '84, but it was a while ago..
