yeah mate that is WRONG, i have a feeling he had a "idea" what he wanted to acheive but the final outcome was totally different, but each to there own.

I know that I am not often serious on this forum BUT, if any one wants a chopper, go and buy one of those mechanical abortions from OCC, or take a coat hanger and install a Hardly-Ferguson engine in it. JUST LEAVE THE BEEMERS ALONE! or I'll hunt the guy down!. This sort of rubbish really p*sses me off!!

There was an R1200C around my area a  few years ago, that had an extended front fork, 'ape hanger' handlebars, an open exhaust, and painted pastel pearlescent yellow .

Didn't look 'right', didn't sound 'right', nothing about it was 'right' !!!

Guess that's probably why I haven't seen for a few years .

just wrong....I have no problem with people who feel the need to ruin any given HD but these are ......just wrong.

Lucky_Lou I think you have the right idea I too think they can be rescued if we could just get them out of the hands of the overly tasteless and stupid.
