Boy, I gotta say one of my favorite things to do these days is to find the next issue of this magazine in my mailbox - it only comes out 6X per year but the photography is generally excellent, and they have some lovely old iron reviewed in each issue.  This latest one covers a pristine Laverda Jota, KAwasaki H1 500 MkIII, the new Bonneville SE, and the nicest bike of the lot, a cafe'd toaster R60 - which has a highly polished R100 powerplant in it, and even a '37 Zundapp and a '64 Guzzi Falcone, a 48 Vincent Black Shadow and a new Harley XR1200  fill out the reviews.   I know that I sound like a paid advert, but I really like the photography and quality of paper in this magazine.  The writing is OK - they do make mistakes here and there, but overall it is quite pleasant to read.

Does anyone else get this periodical?   I seem to be stuck in a time warp - with very few exceptions, the old bikes always seem to be much more interesting to me than the new ones..

Your mag and a couple others are on the rack at my local Hastings. I'd love to subscribe to all of them but the prices kinda blows my hair back.

I usually treat myself to one issue about every six months or so if it has something I'm really hooked into.

Otherwise, I glance through them with envy.

That's a good magazine. I go to my local Barnes and Noble, pull up an easy chair with a cup of coffee and enjoy my bike, sailing and fly fishing books. Can't beat the price.

I get it, nhmaf, and you are right, it is a rare treat.  And it is quality stuff.  Even the ads are easy on the eye.

Another good, expensive bi-monthly is the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club periodical.  It will be hard to say "no" come renewal time.  To both magazines!

I don't drink coffee, and I don't get to book shops much.
