I included Airheads, though I don't remember any rides they do.  Rallies, Tech days and Barley Therapy!  Many times we ride to tech days together, but usually after an Ugly Mugs breakfast meeting.  I rode the Aufderheide a few weeks ago with a fellow Airhead, but I rode the Triumph.

I included some national groups because I ride regularly with peeps I hook up with there, from the airlist, MOA, and RA.

Local is relative. My local is the Pacific NW and half of CA.  ;D And one of these days I'll find time to do Aufderhidey, Ed, I swear!

I joined our local Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group, Grey-Bruce Section when I first got LRB going. Now "aw is" the prez. of the Section but not for long as elections are coming up and I am not running again.

I love to ride solo.....no pressure for anything. Next best is just one special riding buddy....like my brother.....still looking for the ideal mate but David is pretty good except that as he is deaf so I get to say everything twice and we can't kibbitz and joke if he is outta sight....like in HIS tent where he should be! We got into a few problems because he didn't tell me he hadn't heard what I had said. All in all it's a lot more tiring with someone else around. But it can be nice to have someone to talk to after the riding is over for the day.
1983 R65LS - LRB still my favourite!? 1988 Honda NX250, "Toodles Too" and a Suzuki DR650, "Calypso." All stored in the "Brrrmmm Closet".

I like riding alone (unless taking the wife with me). Less restrictions than riding in groups and find that meeting other riders on the road at random more than makes up for riding in groups. :)

I really enjoy riding around town and meeting up for beers and lie swapping with my club http://www.59texas.org/ . It also makes for fun camping at rallys getting to hang out with members who don't live in the DFW area. When the whole club does decide to go to a rally we normaly ride in groups of two or three and not as a large pack. When it comes to touring I prefer to ride solo most of the time unless I'm riding very out of the way back roads, then I like having a fellow rider or a chase vehichle just for safeties sake.

Member of Airheads,  BmwMOGA,  and GAMBA.  I like riding in the group but I also like riding alone.  When I did my IBA 50cc last year, I put it out that I was going but there were no takers.  I didn't expect any.  In retrospect that was a good thing until I dumped the bike on the way home in Utah about 2 miles off the beaten path.  Then it would have been nice to have somebody help me pick up the pieces.

Each has its +'s and -'s.

Opps I should have voted for the third choice - Hey nhmaf - can I change my vote....

When I set it up initially I had allowed posters to change their vote, not sure if there is some time limit, though...
