This R65 was seen at a tech day at Ken Uhl's last Saturday.

This young lady was reportedly the rider.

Anyone know her?

I don't know her, but I sure like that bike's color.  I think the caption said it was painted a firetruck color.  If I ever go to any rallies I'll have to keep my eyes open for it.

Semper Gumby,

I tried sending personal messages to you inquiring about the R65 which you said was still available.  If you didn't get them, it's OK to reply in this thread.

Please give some details about the bike, especially the location and seller's contact information.

Thanks.

Steve,

Thanks for the information. What a great bike! However, a little too  expensive for me, not to mention too far away.

I'm looking for an '81-'84, not LS, not a project bike, and not too far away. Something I can ride and gradually restore/customize.

Thanks, again for your help.

This yellow R65 and it's rider were featured (as author, no less!) in an article in the latest issue of AirMail, the monthly magazine of the ABC (Airheads Beemer Club).  I haven't my issue with me here at work, so I cannot divulge her name.
Well written article, I might add.
