Ah the Wankel motorcycle. Suzuki also made one but the best was the Norton Comander.

Norton got a lot a press with it's rotary engine bike and won a few major races but it was to late getting into production to save them from going under.

I think John has one at Bluemoon Cycle in Atlanta upstairs in the "Museam".  

Number 57 was a BSA A70L lightning that went for only $4600.  I think that was a steal.  :'(

Cumbria Police had a couple of Norton Rotarys on test in the late 1980's. The Police riders loved them but found them to be rather fragile in comparison to the R80's they were using at the time.
