I have a set of Konis on The R65LS but even though the preload and the dampening screw at the top are set at the softest settings, I want it softer so the bike sags more with just my 130 lbs sitting on it. I have very little sag now with my weight and I want to sit lower without lowering the bike physically using shorter shocks and pulling the front forks through the triple trees. You see, I like having the centrestand and I am at the limit of strength for getting the bike on the centrestand now. A lower bike is not a good thing and welding and cutting is not my forte! So just a springier spring in the Koni or maybe if someone knows, I'll put on the old OEM shocks back on. Maybe they are softer sprung to start with and with their 35 year age may be saggy enough for me?? Were the Boge's softer outta the gate than the softest setting on Konis??
