Hello,

There is a R65ls police gas tank for sale on ebay.

I am not too familiar with the R65LS.  Does the R65LS have the same gas tank as my 1983 R65?

Do the R65 police gas tanks have more or less fuel capacity then the civilian gas tank?

Just ran the numbers in real oem and both the LS & standard R65 bear the same part number. Couldn't find anything on capacity and suspect that the "police tank" designation is due to it having a "tool box" on top. A desirable tank methinks. I'll be watching this one.
