Simplified ladder type Wiring schematic R65
« on: October 13, 2016, 07:47:55 PM »
I drew up this ladder type wiring schematic of the 82 R65 to help show really how simple the wiring system really is
The factory wiring schematic is very good in that it shows how the bike is physically wired and connected together but it also makes it look way more complicated than it actually is.

This schematic  is good to see how a system actually works
And what is hooked  to what
You will notice the bike is way under fused  :o and there is a lot of opportunity for letting the smoke out as we say in the forklift repair business :'(

The headlight   circuit for the  high beam flash inst really correct because I could not find a switch in the menu to duplicate it but it is fairly accurate

Sure makes it a lot simpler than the Haynes diagram!

Should be fairly accurate for your '84, Adrian. There may be some small differences between North America, Euro and Trans Pacific requirements. Finding them... Ah, there's the rub.::)
