Well, I've got two good reasons !!

I've had two brake line failures on motorcycles, with OEM rubber lines, both at 10 years in service .

Both failed at swaged on fittings .

All of my bikes have braided stainless lines .

Cost for stainless lines is not far from OEM parts prices .

I've replaced all of the OEM rubber lines on my three cars as well, with braided stainless lines .

They range from 14 years to 35 years old .
