I took it out for a spin yesterday. Just around the block so far, since the snow melt is making the main roads a mess.
I found that my butt is now further rearward on this seat. So my posture is a bit more prone, and the sport bars now feel like clip-ons. But I like it. I guess I'll have a better idea once the roads dry up and I'm able to take it on longer trips (ie, maybe my triceps will complain).
And I had to cut off the top 1/2" to 3/4" of the plastic tool tray (I didn't have the battery in before, so that was another surprise).
I'm not sure if I'll do anything else to the seat. I don't really notice the rear cowl issue at all. And I'm afraid that if I try to reduce the size of that front tip, I'll botch the job and make it look worse. But then again, I may get bored one day.
