« on: August 04, 2007, 02:54:49 PM »
I bought a cylinder on ebay some time ago and forgot what side is. I think the markings go forward but not sure at all. Help please  :)
My bike and books are in storage. Many thanks.

I went to www.RealOEM.com, and looked up the part number for the cylinders, and  found one  part number for cylinder only, and quantity required was 2 , so I don't think there is a left or right cylinder.

There are no right and left for cylinders, at the start either will do for either side. It's just when the pairs have run for a while that it's good practice to keep the heads (that obviously are sided), pistons and barrels together.
