Hi Guys,
My R65 made in April 1982 has a filter cover P/N 13 72 1 337 228.
In April 1983, BMW made a lot of modification in the air intake and carb settings.
This involves new springs in the carbs, new jetting, and new needle clip.
As far as I know, the needle is the same, only the locking system has changed.
I would like to know what are the differences between the covers.
So may one of you with a bike using the cover P/N 13 72 1 337 675 measure the trumpets and give me the values ? (I need small intake diameter, large dimensions at the air box and length for each trumpet in order for me to compare with mine).

P.S. I'm too broke to buy a new one just to try...
