Does anyone know the diameter and thread pitch of the engine oil drain plug?

Take out the gearbox filler plug. 99% certain it is the same plug.

Now it is daylight, I could go out and check.

Plug is 18mm diameter  x 1.5 thread.

Thanks Chris, I was looking at an oil temp indicator kit, and the sensor is  20 mm diameter and 1.5 mm thread pitch. So it looks like it won't work.

Bob, I'm having a friend make one up on his CNC for my R90. As it's an allen socket plug, I'll get him to make an ordinary hex head with the centre of the plug tapped to accept the sender. That way I can change the oil with no problems. BTW, my sender is much smaller than 20mm diameter, 10mm from memory.
