my left passenger footpeg got bent down and the metal is now flared out. It is quite impossible to take it off to fix or replace it. any suggestions?

i am in the middle of moving so everything i have is in boxes, i think don w had a set for sale. you should be able to get them off if not then you might have to cut the bolt off holding it on.

well i guess the real problem is that there is a huge bar in the way thst holds on the wheel and i can't get a socket in because a wrench keeps rounding off the bolt

Well, I assume you mean the swingarm.  :-/
Probably not worth having to remove that to be able to get at the bolt easily.

The movable part of the pegs are riveted to the base. You can file or grind (dremel, angle grinder) the head of the rivet off, then drift it out.
You could then bend the pegs back in shape (hammer, vice)

Then replace with a suitable size bolt with nylock nut.
