I need a new left controll switch group.

Or whatever its called.

The turn signal selector broke on my 65 and I need an entire new group (because I tried to fix it). Also now I have the ability to turn my head light from high to off.

My question is: Will the control group from the older airheads screw on to the control set up for a 81? I am looking to get this one if it will work.

As yall can see time is running out so ....... when yall get to this please answer if yall know.

Thanks

David

Terrible photo. I'd bet the switch assembly would mate up to the R65. Might need to do a little mod'ing of the wire harness and/or connectors, but might not. There's also the headlight dimmer switch and horn button.

What could possibly go wrong? ;)

Just checked the A&S microfiche. http://www.ascycles.com/illustrated_parts_catalog_main.aspx

The R100S and R65 switch assemblies look identical but have slightly different part numbers. Terminals appear to be the same. Ought to be OK for you, David. Price is sure cheap enough.
