Lubing The Starter

One thing I neglected to do when I had my bike torn down was to lube the starter.  I was wondering if it can be lubed without removing the starter.  I'm guessing that the shaft and gear take lube...anything else?

I have done two starters so far, you really need to disassemble them to get to all of the lubrication points .

There is, or at was a thread in the FAQ section on how to disassemble, clean and lube the starter .

I looked for it Bob and did a search...couldn't find it.  I'm guessing I'd just have to lube any place where there is movement and surfaces meet.

By the way... I'll be in Yuma in a few days.  If I'm heading your way some time in the next while I'll contact you; maybe we could get together for a coffee or something.
