The OEM air filter at Thirty something bucks plus shipping seems a bit expensive, any other brand that will work?.  Comments appreciated from the 'thrifty' members.

I'm presently running a UNI foam element filter that's manufactured with the black plastic chassis as the OEM. A little bit less expensive than OEM. Can be cleaned and retreated so should last indefinitely. Graze through the web-based bike emporiums for best prices and shipping.

There's a K&N washable type  filter for the flat air filters, last I saw cost wise was around $60US .
