Evening all.
Good to be back on my bike after 6 weeks away.
I was in Vegas and PV Mexico then work sent me to the UAE.....anyway

I have had fun bump starting my r65LS (it will need a nother battery though, as it wont hold a charge), but I have noticed a couple of things I hadn't previously.

Now when on the centre stand for a day or so, I have noticed the left carb is dripping fuel from teh seal around the bottom. I was thinking the seal may be buggered, but it would appear I might jut have to give them a good clean which may be preventing teh needle from fully closing.

However last night, I went out, bike was on side stand, and the right side had a small pool of oil under it. I cant find anywhere where this would be coming from, and teh other day there was nothing there. It was only very small, not even wallet sized, but I can't work it out.

Any ideas of where to look, check, etc etc. I'm thinking I'll have to clean everything really well and try and find out whats going on, as it seems intermittent, and from both sides!

thanks for your help in advance

"the left carb is dripping fuel" I've been advised that a cork gasket will dry out over time. Whenever I think of it I flip the petcock on for a few seconds to keep fuel up in the bowl, hopefully swelling the gasket between rides.
"the right side had a small pool of oil under it." Try pulling the right side plastic tube that connects the airbox to the carb inlet and inspect for an oil film I guess it may be coming from your breather tube in the airbox.
