Removing brake pressure switch
« on: July 20, 2009, 10:38:52 PM »
Well, I'm an idiot.  I bled the brakes and kinda forgot that the reason for bleeding them was because I had to replace the switch.  ~sigh~

I drained the nice clean fluid, found a 22 mm wrench and attempted to remove the old switch.  It ain't budging.  I unbolted the whole assembly from the (weak) attach point so I wouldn't break anything, but I still cannot get it to move.  I really don't want to remove that little hard line that comes off the other end, but I don't see any other way of getting the casting out where I can get some serious leverage on it.

Any other ideas?

I can't remember if we were able to maneuver a big (10" - 12") Crescent wrench onto it or if we had to remove it completely and stick it in a vise...
