I recently restored a 1982 R65LS that had been stored inside for 37 years. Bike had 29k on it and head bearing grease was so hard you could not turn the forks. 
With the help of this forum and parts from Euro MotoElectrics I have completely gone through the bike and am pleased with the results.  I live in Cottonwood at the base of Mingus Mtn and have been having vintage bike rides with friends over to Prescott for breakfast. Good fun on the twisties.

Welcome, 

When you mentioned Prescott I knew roughly where you were.  I've stayed there once around Christmas time and a few times in Chino Valley.  A nice part of the world and I was last there about twelve months ago.  I have friends down Tucson way.
