inexpensive brake lines available
« on: November 11, 2022, 09:40:15 AM »
I recently have been dealing with swollen brake lines on my 81 R65 w/ ate brakes. the orig. lines are no longer available from BMW, and switching to modern banjo style lines is kind of pricey, so I spent some time looking for an alternative and found these Dorman H38795 lines. they are actually for a 90 toyota cresseda sedan, but they are the correct fittings and 1/2" longer than the orig. I had to modify the bracket, but they seem to work great. Ive tried to attach a pic. but appaently the file is too big.

Nice find! And they even sell their brake line on Amazon for around $20!
