Greenwood Grocery & Grill
« on: April 25, 2013, 03:54:31 PM »
On Thursday, the full membership of the recently formed League of Independent Gentlemen ventured northwest of the MetroMess to check out an eatery recommended by the Fort Worth BMWMOA club. I was immediately taken back to a similar looking, highly enjoyable little bar along the Guadalupe River just west of Kerrville, Texas -sadly, now closed but well enjoyed.

Passing through the screen door of the Greenwood Grocery and Grill in downtown Greenwood, Texas is like stepping into a way-back time machine.

After tabulating the ballots, the League's membership rated the cheeseburgers as a 10... just like on Dancing With The Scars.

Great weather for a ride-out to lunch on the R100S and Mike's new GS.

We did stop by Eagles Canyon Raceway. Gates were open but they weren't to keen on letting us try out our newly imagined MotoGP moves.

Membership in the League of Independent Gentlemen is open to those so inclined. It's simple: No dues, No meetings, No rules, No jobs.

Me, too.  I still have 6 and a half years left in my sentence.

Well, Lou and Ed... It's something for y'all to look forward to.

Perhaps we'll bring this topic up during our next barbecued ribs n' barley therapy session.

We'll get back to you on that Lou.  It may take us a few pints to reach some kind of decision on your suggestion.
