Dang it, I rode to work on the wrong day!

...actually I got pretty wet.  I thought it would not rain so I wore my leathers rather than my Olympia one piece.  I was mistaken.

Oh!  I didn't know it was coming up so fast.  I gotta get things in order to do that.  Maybe it will get me riding every day.     :D

Thanks for the post.

Glad I didn't ride to work today.  We got 6-1/2 inches of rain here in Bedford over the last 24 hours and a little town south of Dallas, Lancaster, received over 8 inches.  The Trinity River is levee to levee, about 1/2 mile wide, near downtown Dallas.  More is expected to night.

Just goes to show you have to be prepared for anything when you ride to work.

Can you breath when it rains that much?  I would think you would drown.  Yuck!   ;D

June 15 is the 18th annual "Ride to Work Day".

It's also the official "Sneak a Kiss Day" for sweethearts to steal smooches from their sweeties.

And, in Indiana, two brothers are attempting to have the day marked as "National Man Day". 260,000+ pledges have been received on the boys Facebook page where folks pledge to, "stand up and do manly things".

I'm gonna cover all the bases. I will smooch my sweetheart bye-bye as I fire up the manly R65 and, even though I'm off for the summer, ride somewhere and watch people work. Close enough.

Been doin' that for years - didn't know that there had to be a 'day' before I could do it....

Monte - can always count on you to crack me up!

Actually, one of the bands I play in had a performance a couple days after world accordion day, and we had a very skilled female accordionist performing (fully clothed!) during the concert.    :D
