Only part of Texas I have ever seen is around DFW, and it sure doesn't look like that..

But, I see that you were on your R1150R and not your R65, for this trip !

The "Hill Country" is to the south and east of the DFW area.  It looks nice and maybe me and the wife will check it out some weekend...

My wife rode with me for a lot the trip and my R1150 is a better two up bike than my R65. All the roads in the pictures are around Kerrville.

Right now I'm working in Vail and I sure wish I had one of my bikes to ride around here!

To make things worse the contractor I'm working for shows up at the job site on his GS every day. >:(
Joan if you do make to the hill country next spring let me know my wifes mother lives in Kerrville and we're down there all the time. She visits with her family and I get to ride the hills with free room and board, life is good.
