They sure are pretty. How do you plan to pass the Darien Gap? Or are you flying the bike straight to Rio?
Oooo, THAT would be fun. Rio! Carnivale! PARTY! I like parties.

This site has a bunch more maps and stuff: http://www.iguassu-misted-falls-vacation.com/iguassu-falls.html

I wonder if the Motorcycle Diaries riders went through that area?

I would actually be up for an organized tour of Germany, Switzerland and oh Northern Italy. On leased bikes.

The roads here in South America are pretty good, but DO NOT break down, especially in Peru.  I have lots of help from friends here in Lima but have still waited two weeks on getting parts through customs.  And it looks as if I'll need to pay 100% tax, (350GBP/$700US) maybe more for 'storage'.  There are several ways around the Darien Gap.  One is flying but another is to take a yacht from Colon in Panama, to Cartagena in Colombia.  I'm hoping to do this in reverse.  It takes 6 days on average, but one day is spent snorkelling off a Caribean island.  You can fly from the US to just about any South American capital.  See the Unlimited Horizons website for more details on this.
