Just thought I would post a few photos of a "lesser make" that I played around with prior to taking on my R65LS custom restoration. I'm a tart for anything on 2 wheels but my favourites would be BMW and HD.
This one started life as an 88 c.i. twin cam 2000 model HD Road King but I've lowered it an inch in the front with Progressive 'drop in' springs and an inch in the rear with a set of late model HD Street Glide shocks, and also lowered the front fender (guard) with a custom mount and reduced the gap between fender and the wheel; changed from fine spoke wheels to the black 9 spoke ones - with whitewalls; put a set of wide western bars and great solo seat on and a fender bib to match; visors/covers over all the lights; chrome front end; stainless brake rotors and changed a set of leather bags for the hard bags and put some chrome trim on it. It also has bigger displacement pistons and barrels (95 c.i.) with an EFI management system and a set of gear driven S&S performance cams.
I did all this when it reached 100,000klms (60,000 miles) and within days of putting it on the road a complete stranger on the street wanted to buy it for cash right there! I did NOT sell it because I love it. Like I said over in the restoration posts, it's extremely satisfying when you have an idea, execute it and other people really appreciate what you've pulled off.
It goes, stops and rides much better than when I bought it. And it gets ridden!
I'm 4 weeks away from retirement and will need another project somewhere in the future.

Before I ever saw a BMW; long before I ever had a license, I had a large-scale model of a Electra-Glide.
That was the go-to H-D for me, and your Road Glide fits the bill nicely!
The only Harley I ever owned the title to was an XLCR, however.

I bet you wish you had kept that XLCR, Rob! Very desireable bike indeed.
Here's my Ultra in various forms. First photo is in stock form. Second photo after I purchased and fitted a quick release kit and adapted it to the Tour-pak to move it forward to centralise the weight a bit more. The third photo is when I'm not touring. Couple of minutes to unplug wiring and lift the Tour-pak off and it's virtually a Street Glide. Really easy to refit as well.

I think you can go to your computer, make sure the images are right-side up, and then edit those posts wherein you delete the original images and put the appropriate new photo in.
