Title: Guzzi Clutch Splines
Post by: Bob_Roller on June 02, 2013, 01:22:18 PM
Here's a picture of a typical Moto Guzzi clutch hub, note the size of the splines compared to an airhead BMW .

Now that's what they really should look like!

I had heard that it was part of BMW's internal attempt to reduce driveline slop by going with the dainty, fine toothed clutch hub, but I'm not buying it.

If those Italians with their love of fine delicate looking machinery put some honest meat on their clutch hubs like this - the Germans really should have doubled their design over the Italians!
