Hi    - I'm still considering buying a '71 ammbassador and am wondering if anyone knows how to check a vin #..before I travel to look. I've tried those vin check sites & they seem to lead no-where. Any ideas?

Bengt Phorqs is a long-time Guzzi Guy with lots of tech info. He's been cooking ribs and washing 'em down with frosties today -left me alone to work on his fairing- but I do know he's in quarters. Try a PM to him.

Yes, and not just any kind of Frosties.  No training beer for this guy.  The ribs were superb, the beer was cold, the grandkids needed a certain amount of thrashing about in the pool and who better to whip up on than The Grand Dude.  A great time was had by all.

Umm..this looks like double flat tires & bent forks,broke spokes, etc.....scary picture, I think I need a frostie quick!!

I'd like to go on record and say that the baby whale on the H-D is definitely not related to anyone in my gene pool!  While my rear shock pre-load may be at a higher setting, my physique is not remotely similar to this guy! [smiley=beerchug.gif]
