Not to far from me is a private motorcycle collector/restorer who specializes in highly collectible,
rare, motorcycles (though I did almost by an R90/6 from him once). Believe it or not, he has a collection of THREE (3!) Vincents IN ORIGINAL PAINT and all in running order (this is what he does for a living) for sale on ebay... I figure why the hell would anyone invest their 401(k) on wall street these days when you could get these bikes for a reserve price of $210,000.00 US??
Enjoy the pictures, it is like getting into the "wayback" machine with Professor Peabody - I'm drooling like a fool, but couldn't possibly swing this on my PayPal account!

Very nice... there was an auction in Harogate last week which featured a 1928 Brough Superior
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brough_Superior_SS100
it had a reserve of £160k ($200k ish)
didnt make the reserve but a nice bike for someone who has won the lottery.
