I do love the retro look... Kawasaki is rolling out a W800 that is so cool. It looks more British than a Royal Enfield or Triumph. Some cycles just look hot......and this is one. Not real wild about the gold rims.........but damn that bike is almost erotic.
-
I like it in BMW R90s orange(http://)
-
I like the dirttracker look.

soooooooooo cool
-
Very very cool, love'em. So many great choices in the retro market out there at the moment, Guzzi V7 range, Bonnie range, & now this sweet bevel gear drive of coolness.
-
They want over 6 and half thousand quid for one in the uk. I could have my R65 LS completely restored professionally for that.
-
Not sure what a quid is........but it sounds like a whole bunch of dollars. At least if you win the lottery you can buy one. They aren't going to import them into the USA. So, if I win the lottery..........tough luck. >:(
-
Quid is a slang term for Pound Sterling .
6500 GBP would work out to about $10,500US .
-
Well, in the US, you could pick up a W650 (still a nice bike) and do the cosmetic conversion yourself for probably much less that $10,000 - and it would come with a title!
-
DEFINITELY appears that team Kawasaki is trying to get some of all those Triumph Bonneville sales business these days, hence the punching the W650 out to 800cc. If it is still as smooth an engine that would be a welcome upgrade! Maybe our Canadian friends like Sue might have the ability to buy one of these, too-but after all her customizing of Winnie ..
-
Your right Mike. I do love the retros, no question and Winnie is looking good for touring now ($$) and cruising. But LRB just is in my heart and he is good at anything Winnie can do....just my confidence level in him for the long haul as I don't want to "use him up"!! At least there is choice now for anyone with a hankering.
-
I love the XLCR. I couldn't afford one when thay came out. I had to settle for a $500 Honda CB550 with Glass Packs. Even though it was Honda it had a great sound. I got pulled over in Daytona after a red light turned green "just because". 8-)
The W800 looks pretty cool as well. I wonder how big the rear tire is on the Flat Tracker...and I'd want a bash plate to protect the oil filter. :o
-
nice looking bike!
can't believe they wouldn't want to try these in the American market. :-/
oh well.
-
I have to admit the the kwacker is a nice looking bike, but I'm happy with my Bonnie 900.

They all look fab, but Mike, that 900...
That is just gorgeous, I may have to have that as wallpaper on my work PC for a while... :P
-
I have now seen The Kwacker "in the flesh" and it is gorgeous. A very sexy looking bike.
I think they have a winner on their hands...
