If Triumph manages to keep the prices down, as they've been so good at the last few years, this could be real competition for more than a few serious sport-tourers out there.

It's no secret that John Bloor and Company studied several Japanese motorcycle designs prior to release of the New Triumphs. Kawasaki influence can be seen in manyareas of my 900 Trophy.
Having followed the rumors, spy photos, proposed release dates and now the semi-sorta unofficial photos from the Continent, I'm looking forward to seeing the latest Trophy in person. I hope the aluminum chassis design results in a less top heavy bike than my current steel-spine road burner. If it passes a future test ride at my dealer's Ride Day, I may try for a swap down the road a ways. The drive shaft is the clincher.
