I'm planning on buying a Sprint ST as soon as the funds are available and would like to know if anyonehere has any PERSONAL negative experiences with one of these. Pic for reference :)

Rode my Triumph Trophy down to Ft Worth's Eurosport Cycle and eyeballed the Sprint along with all the other Triumph, Ducati and Aprilia hotrods. Nothing not to like about the ST which is a softer, sport-touring version of the Daytona. Good fuel range, too. Two year, unlimited warranty.
Are you aware that Triumph plans to release a new version of the Trophy sport tourer in a year or so?
Great bikes, all. Even the Thailand-built retro Bonneville series.

All Triumph Twins are fabbed at the Triumph manufacturing facility in Thailand. That's the primary reason the twins are so reasonably priced; reduced labor costs.

Be sure to check out the new Sprint GT too before automatically plunking down for the ST...

I believe 2006 was the last year you could pick up an English made Triumph. Theres a serial number that backs this up, the plant literally moved half way through a production year.
Those prints are a nice ride. I have a few friends that sport them as second or third bikes and they handle well.

The February 2011 issue of Motor Cyclist magazine has a couple photos and info on the upcoming late 2011 release of the new Triumph Trophy touring bike. Best obvious feature is the drive shaft.
Well, after all, this is a 'shafty' Airhead forum. :)
