Title: Spark plugs as Chrismas tree orniments

Sounds kinda cool but I don't think the limbs on my fake tree would be strong enough to support them.  When would REALLY be neat would be to gut the plug and put a red LED on the tip end and drive it with something that would make the LED flash! :)

Its Christmas.... your "over thinking this Justin, it seems nhmaf knows who wears the trousers ... just park the bike in the lounge with the indicators on and some tinsel on the handlebars, who needs a tree.  [smiley=wink.gif]

Well, Lou, sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.  When I got married I had a motorcycle in pieces and my new, understanding, bride didn't give me a lot of grief when I assembled these boxes of parts into a motorcycle in the living room.  I would have gotten out relatively unscathed had I remembered to put in the drain plug before I started dumping oil into the beast...

I guess all's well that ends well and that was 40 years ago and she hasn't tossed me out yet!

Mike - if you made 'em light up and look festive you might get away with it, I wuz just tryin' to help ya out...

Justin - it might not be too hard to do if we could remove the center electrode through the body - I may have to try a "proof of concept" with some used plugs in the garage and some small high efficiency LEDs
