Title: Wiring Connector Blocks

Is it possible to remove the male/female metal connectors from within the plastic connector blocks in the R65s wiring system?

If so, What's the best way to get them out and maintain them in a reusable condition?

People will tell you that it can be done with a small screwdriver in the slot in the connector next to the wire, but I was always frustrated until I bought this tool: http://www.bus-boys.com/bb13386.htm#tool

Yes, a jewlers screwdriver.

But if you are not in a hurry, getting the tool may even be easier.

I like the "nothing" tool but I ended up using a really tiny flat-blade jewelers screwdriver.

Slip it down between the metal plug and the block, then push the two (usually) locking tabs into the body of the metal connector. Push the wire out of the block in the direction of the male/female end.

What I was doing was cleaning any dirt, grit and/or corrosion out of the terminals.
