A few of the folks here know I play saxophones in various bands - it is more of a serious hobby than a career for me, but I enjoy it - especially when I can play some jazz. Anyhow, if you feel in the need for some jazz-inspired Christmas tunes, here is a link to (3) songs we did during a jazz themed church service this past weekend - it was going to be before Christmas but had to be rescheduled due to a blizzard - at least we got it in before the Epiphany, so it still counts (I think)!
I think it was a little too early in the morning for the trombone player, but it does get cooking eventually. This isn't one of my usual bands, but they do seem to keep asking me back when their regular sax player can't make it. The vocalist is great - the audio quality doesn't do her justice, IMO.
Songs include-
1 - Let All mortal Flesh Keep Silence
2 - Mary's Boy Child
3 - Gifts Great and Small (3 Kings/Drummer Boy)
Enjoy (I hope) and (belated) Happy New Year!

Nice stuff! [smiley=clap.gif]
I'm more of a rock/country guy, but gradually opening my ears and mind to jazz.

Your steel guitar White Christmas was also very nice!
That "show" was in Henniker, NH.
I also play some guitar - mainly rhythm stuff, though I've been wanting to get into some Dobro-type stuff for some time, and I've got my eyes on a Gretsche Bobtail 9220 to try it out. But saxophones (alto, tenor, and bari) are my main/primary axes..

Thanks!
