I don't know if anyone members here use Mobil 1 motorcycle oil in any of their bikes or not .
It was suggested that I use it in my Moto Guzzi Lario, due the extreme heat here and the low volume of oil in the oil sump .
A US national auto parts store, O'Reilly's has it on sale every couple of months for $8.99US per quart .
I'm thinking of using it in my oilhead at the next oil and filter change, less than one dollar per quart more than the semi-synthetic BMW oil made by Spectro Oils that I'm using now .

Bob, I've been using Mobil 1, 20W50, in my 3 oilheads and the Guzzi California SS for quite a while now. I see it on sale from time to time, but not in the 20W50. To me, $8.95/qt is a good deal. I was in O'Reilly this morning but my local store doesn't carry the 20W50.

The only grade they have at the store local to me, is V-Twin 20w50 oil .

Hi Bob,
Believe it or not I use Mobil 1 in the 10W40 Primary of the BSA A65 Firebird that still has a chain. My Thunderbolt now has a belt drive and runs dry and closed up!

Nope - it's separate. And I use the BMW crush washers on the external adjuster nuts to help keep the oil in. The primary is notorious for leaks. If you added the volume of the primary to the pressure of the rise and fall of the pistons, there would be oil squirting out all over the place. BSA wasn't really concerned with keeping oil inside their motors.
