Anyone else been watching this excellent mag program, the last one saw the completion on a restoration on a 79 Bonneville cost...... £10500
what a waste of money compared to our underrated R65 Bonny bashers.

I have been watching it, but his inane drivel is driving me 'up the bleedin wall'. He just is not as funny as he thinks he is.
I liked some of the specials mentioned in the program. But there is just as much rubbish in the program that you have to sit through before you get to something interesting - and typically all you get is a fleeting glance before he's moved on to something else.
Also typical inherited 'US of A' documentary thing, got to repeat everything every 10 mins, just in case you can't remember what was said before the last Advert break.
1 Hour long program, 10mins of content - when you remove the Adds, the repetions and the drivel from idiot presenting it.
All we need next is some obviously made up 'drama', some end of the world problem, that isn't really.....Oh, he fell off his bike !!! Broke his shoulder! If done properly, in the normal 'US of A' documentary thing, he should have almost fallen of his bike, along with lots of tension, freeze frames, close ups and scary music, only for nothing to happen.......But he didn't. Muppet.
Sorry been watching too much 'Sons of guns' and other 'cable crap'...

ditto
Couldn't have said it better
I watch it as Bike programs are in such short supply. I suppose we should be grateful but it's hard going.

This motorcycle show just started on the Discovery Channel. So far it seems like a decent show and some neat bikes, not just the big v-twin customs that someone thinks is the only motorcycle worthy of television time.

He is definately trying to cover a lot of ground.
Probably trying to send a message to non-motorcyclists that there is 'something for everyone'.
In fact, it is almost a program for the 'non-motorcyclist', or at least someone contemplating taking it up.
I am also not sure how anyone can get through life whilst being so inept with motorcycle maintenance. No respect for anyone who is continually restricting himself to making the tea instead of getting stuck in and learning something. He must be good at something highly paid though, as he paying enough to everyone else to keep his motorcycles running
Probably be funnier if they had Guy Martin presenting it - although he is already an accomplished racer and presenter ...Chap! Ee by gum!
So in summary; good in parts, worth a watch, try not to develope a hatred for the format and presenter......
Just my tuppence worth.

anyone else notice the two broken fins on the head of the bonnie? also, remember when he did up the xt500? he bought it from the same guy i bought my r65 off in derby ! the owner said to cole , 'feel free to look around' , 'not interested' was the reply 'its just a job' , when he enquired about the cb550 he'd 'restored' he was told its rotting in a shed! he used to ride bikes , but he's just a fake. would you like his job? you seen his house and land? he cant even undo a bolt.

Three episodes and done.
Discovery Channel keeps throwing out different "reality" shows and dumps most of them after 3-4 episodes. Count Philly Throttle on the DOA list.

Henry Cole is a prize twat!
I agree with the repeat thing, what is that all about? I record then whizze through the drivel to get to anything interesting, it doesn't take long to watch...
