I saw this quote on a bulletin board at a motorcycle campground and I like it.

The Ten Cannots

"You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.

You cannot lift the wage-earner by pulling down the wage-payer.

You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot establish security on borrowed money.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away men's initiative and independence.
You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could

Tell this to the many political - "isms" out there and they will disagree.  

Apologies in advance for mentioning politics on this fine forum (puts his body armour and helmet on the protect him from the rocks that will be thrown at him).

Pretty much anything is fair game in this section!  Somebody needs to tattoo this list on Obama's forehead!
