Took some pictures today of my replacement of the battery negative cable .
I uploaded the photos to Photobucket, they have a different resizing method than before .
I've got the pictures resized to around 400x400, but when I post the pictures here, they are way too big, around 1100x700 .
Any idea what I might be doing incorrectly ????

I've never used the resize feature on photobucket - I generally resize them on my PC with some free software that I got with a digital camera about 2 or 3 digital cameras ago, called Nikon PictureProject.
But, now that you've got me intrigued - I'll have to try it out and see if I can figure out how it works.

When you resize them you need to scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the replace button or you just keep the origonal photo.. the new layout had me confused for a while.

Along with the image size, ie: your 400x400, check your resolution size. I alter my pics for posting to have a resolution of 72 to a max of 100 pixies. That also has a bearing on the size of your posted image.

I guess so!! The nice thing is that it doesn't go screw up then entire lists of posts by making all really wide.. Instead, it's only the photo that needs to be moved to view it all.. 8-)
I save mine at 1200x1600 so I can still blow them up and not be pixelated badly..

I found out what I was doing wrong, I wasn't hitting the apply block after resizing the picture .
Thanks for the guidance as usual !!!! :D :D ;D ;D ::) ::)
